We do not just cook vegetables, but with such stunning fruit, herbs, salads and vegetables, we always make these elements the stars.

We cover every aspect of vegetarian catering from plant based hamper deliveries to vegetarian buffet lunches, from vegan corporate events to weddings – supplying all staff, equipment and temporary kitchens if required. We have catered in every imaginable situation, from grand castles to muddy fields, and know what it takes to produce a memorable occasion with exceptional food.

Kit & Kee is based on an organic farm which is committed to sustainable, regenerative agriculture. We believe that looking after the land in this way makes better tasting, healthier ingredients We also believe that we have a responsibility to farm, and to work, in a sustainable manner.

Sustainable vegetarian catering to us means using ingredients produced, transported and packed in a responsible way – on the whole that means organic, but it can also mean using wild foods (foraged responsibly) and also using small scale local producers who we know and trust.

It also mean that we are aware of our footprint in every aspect of the business – we are far from perfect, but we strive to reduce waste, to recycle, and to reduce our consumption wherever we can.

The most delicious and creative food! Hugo & Chris took great care to make the menu just right for our special event. We chose everything vegetarian and even the meat eaters were converted. And even better that everything is home grown with love! Thank you so much!

Vegetarian Catering through the seasons

Vegetarian catering has long been associated with uninspired renditions of risotto, nut roasts and lentils, and while things have moved on in many ways, the variety and standard of vegetarian and vegan cooking in this country is still dubious. Kit & Kee is different – we love the opportunity to show the diversity of vegetarian and vegan cooking, layering flavours and creating delicious dishes throughout the year.

We believe in allowing superb ingredients the chance to shine, picked fresh for the organic market garden on the farm every day. During the summer we harvest gluts of vegetables and preserve them in many different ways from traditional pickles to more exotic ferments, intensifying flavours and saving them for the winter months. There is something truly magical about an intensely-flavoured fermented tomato or a smoky preserved aubergine ripened in a Devon field and served in the depths of winter.

We have twenty years’ experience in vegetarian catering and have cooked in every situation from intimate dinner parties to large events for hundreds of guests. We offer full event planning services, all staff, food and temporary kitchen setup as well as simple deliveries of vegan buffet lunches and vegetarian canape parties.
